Second Harvest
Second Harvest is Canada’s largest food rescue charity with a dual mission of environmental protection and hunger relief.
Through direct delivery and their online platform FoodRescue.ca Second Harvest recover nutritious, unsold food from more than 1,200 donors and redistributes it to a broad network of 1,080 social service organizations in Ontario and BC. Second Harvest’s free, essential service helps nourish people through school programs, seniors’ centres, shelters, food banks, and regional food hubs.
In 35 years, Second Harvest has rescued over 155 million pounds of healthy food, keeping it out of landfills and preventing 192 million pounds of greenhouse gases from entering our atmosphere.

Arts Club Theatre Company
The Arts Club Theatre Company is the largest theatre company in Western Canada. Each year, over a quarter of a million people experience the best in professional theatre at its three venues: the Stanley Industrial Alliance Stage, Granville Island Stage, and Goldcorp Stage at the BMO Theatre Centre, as well as on tour throughout the province. Its popular productions range from musicals and contemporary comedies to new works and classics.

Safe Haven Foundation
Haven’s Way™ duplicates a healthy, loving and supportive family environment for homeless and at-risk girls between the ages of 14 and 24, who do not have child welfare status. Haven’s Way™ provides so much more than the bare necessities of food, home, and clothing. By focusing on choices and building individual capacity, the girls receive a wide range of direct support services such as education, healthcare, and counselling in mental health, trauma, and addictions, financial and career planning, life skills and individual development.
